Adam A. Kablanian

Adam joined HIVE as a Partner in June 2016, where he previously served as an Advisor. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Paradromics, a company focused on developing next-generation neural interface technology. He was previously the Chairman of PlasmaSi, a startup company focused on becoming the leader in thin film barrier technology for OLED displays.  He also serves on the boards of  Cortex MCP a startup company developing a new foundational platform for the future of Mobile Commerce and Ambature LLC. Before that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Memoir Systems a ventured backed memory IP Company.

Prior to Memoir Systems, Adam was the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of iCON Communications, a premier broadband Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Armenia utilizing state of the art WiMAX technology which he successfully sold it in 2009. Additionally, Adam was Chairman of the Board (until March 2008) and Chief Executive Officer (until March 2007) of Virage Logic, a company which he co-founded in 1996, and subsequently took public on NASDAQ (VIRL.) Adam has also served on numerous boards in the EDA Industry (Sequence Design) and Application SW (IconApps) companies.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and an Executive MBA program from Stanford University.
